The standard model is the default version shipped with EMu. In this model the primary
The primary field (in the Catalogue module for example) stores the text of the selected Thesaurus value, not the IRN of the Thesaurus record for that Term. When the standard model of the Thesaurus is implemented, the value of the Thesaurus Type Registry entry is |

When the IRN-based model of the Thesaurus is implemented, the value of the Thesaurus Type Registry entry is |
Note: From EMu 10 onwards it is typically unnecessary to add this Registry entry as the value is automatically determined and the entry added to EMu. In earlier versions of EMu the entry is mandatory if your system is running the IRN-based version of the Thesaurus.
